To put it simply, I used to be considered a big blog, I took a six month break, I disappeared from my follower’s minds, and since then I’ve had a lot of ghost followers. It’s really frustrating. There are blogs here with around 500 followers who have a great, active following. I have 2600 and I can barely get people to send in drabble prompts.

I don’t want to sound like an attention whore or anything, but I’ve been thinking of starting over for a very long time, and I’m finally just gonna hecking do it. I’m going to archive this blog (so it’ll still be here, but I won’t have access to it unless I log into a different email I have, and I’ll be closing asks and messages)

dead memes aside, i was really touched and surprised by the response to my original surprised pikachu painting post. it’s roughly 8,000 notes shy of a hundred thousand! which is crazy! none of my art has ever gotten that much attention before. that being said, i didn’t actually put that much effort into that first surprised pikachu painting, so now that it’s been a while, i thought i would do it again. so here’s surprised pikachu painting take 2!
